We're twenty minutes from downtown Asheville, but a world away. Here's how to find us on your GPS — and what to watch for along the way.

From Asheville (I-240)

Twenty minutes north, mostly on a scenic two-lane road with one hill you'll remember.

Take Exit 5A — Woodfin / Weaverville Merge onto NC-251 N. The city falls away in about two miles.
2
Turn right on Wheatfield Lane (mile 6.4) Look for our green sign just past the covered bridge — easy to miss, so don't speed.
3
Follow the lane 1.2 miles to the inn Pass the apple orchard on your right. The driveway is just past the white fence.
Common Questions

Before you write us a note

A few things guests ask most often. If your question isn't here, the form above goes straight to our kitchen-table inbox.

How far in advance should I book?

Weekends in autumn book up 4–6 weeks ahead, and our Sunflower Loft fills fastest in summer. Weekday stays often have space a week or two out. If you're flexible, send a note and we'll find a room that fits your dates.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions at breakfast?

Absolutely. Eleanor cooks around gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, nut-free, and dairy-free diets every single morning — just let us know in your inquiry. Severe allergies get a separate prep area and a personal walk-through of the morning menu.

Is the inn suitable for children or pets?

Children over 8 are warmly welcome in the Orchard Suite and Hearthside Room. We are a pet-free property so guests with allergies can rest easy, but we're happy to recommend a wonderful local kennel five minutes away.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancellations more than 14 days before arrival are fully refundable. Inside that window, we refund everything we can rebook and hold a small housekeeping fee. We treat each situation with the same kindness we'd want ourselves.

Can I host a small gathering or retreat here?

Yes — the entire inn sleeps up to 12 and is available for buyouts. We've hosted writers' retreats, anniversary weekends, and multigenerational family gatherings. Write to [email protected] and we'll send our gatherings guide.
